Under my armed Beretta

I gotta love misunderstood lyrics, especially when they come from my son. Instead of Under My Umbrella, he was singing Under My Armed Beretta. {knowing my son as I do, he was probably thinking, Chevy, not bang bang, and wondering how that made any sense}. I needed a laugh.

Warren will have his new class schedule and finish out the year at Different District Middle School. He is really excited about it, and so am I. I know he can do it, now he just has to show the rest of the world he can do it. After that, I'll decide what we are going to do for next year. No sense jumping ahead of any guns, and risking getting shot under somebody's Beretta.

Had a short pass with Warren today. He could have stayed later, but they are tuning up the bikes there, and since Warren is one of only two kids with a clue on that stuff, not to mention if it involves tools and grease he'll be there yesterday, so he really wanted to be back at six.

We still had a good time. I took him to Paradox {local comic store} so he could add to his Magic deck. {geekdom runs in the family}, and descratched his disk and rented another ps2 game. After that we came home at pizza {mine sans meat and cheese} and watched tv/placed GTA.
All free of Der Schiesekopf. Such a great time.

I also had his monthly meeting today {which I almost totally spaced out, **ugh**}. Most of the news was good. He's still a teenage boy, with teenage issues, but they are slowly shrinking into managable issues. Not issues requiring police intervention.

The worst things are his issues with redirection, and his wisdom teeth have decided to announce thier appearance. He has a dentist appointment comming up. Hopefully there won't be much problem. They aren't really interfering with him right now, just being annoying and slightly tender. I can't afford any more dental issues. I still haven't scheduled that root canal, I should have had done a month ago. Whoops..

Under my Beretta indeed..

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
