Sometimes I really wonder about the people at Warren's clinic. Today he was supposed to have another appointment with Dr. J. I take off part of the morning from work and he misses morning class at school. We get there in plenty of time, only to find out that A) Dr. J. called in and will be out of the office today, and B)They dont' have his appointment for today in the computer, even though I have a card and I have it written on my calander the day I made it. I also find out he had an appt with Dr. A on the 27th, which we of course were no shows at, because I had no idea. Come on Meritcare people, you put the appointments in the database as soon as they are made, its not that hard. (of course nMallory who works with a medical database, might disagree with me, for valid reasons LOL). I am just frustrated. This isn't the first time that has happened.

On a positive note, I can't remember the last time gas prices were this nice. I stopped at my usual station this morning on the way to the appt and put on gas. It was a very nice surprise to see that the price of a gallon of gas is down to 99.9 cents. Apparently there is another gas war in the F-M area. That is so awesome. Compared to the usual 1$1.50 or so I usually seem to pay this was like an early Christmas present. Yes I know, but I am soo easy to please these days.

Tommorrow Warren's Cub Scout troop is presenting the toys they made for Toys For Tots. I think Warren's came out very very well. I will make sure to take pictures to put up. I am also working tommorrow and since Mike is working weekends from now till who knows when that means Warren gets to come to work with me. Fortunately I work a job where on the weekends this is not a problem. He is bored out of it though, but usually we find something for him to do.

This is a rather short entry today, as I am in a strange mood. Not that that is unusual for me, but I feel like I have some kind of heavy weight sitting on me lately. Not in a physical sense, but more in a mental, psychological sense. I can't really explain it, the closest I can come would be a waiting for the other shoe to drop.

On a lighter note, as you can see I changed my layout again, sort of. I had to move all my graphics etc as go2click shut down. So since I had to do all that I figured why not changed it anyway. I had a background I really wanted to use, so I just needed to find images that worked with it. Thanks for all the compliments on the image at the left. The person who you should give them too is Kitty at Full Moon Graphics.. All the graphics, with the exception of my logo on top are hers. These are from the set called Sometimes. I love all of the set, but couldnt' find a way to use it with my framework. I would love feed back however. I am such an attention monger.

Oh and I almost forgot, please go to Calthea and tell her Happy Birthday. Its not everyday you hit 1/4th of a century. I remember being 25, and having a 2 year old. *sigh.. Till next we meet again.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
