Two pots of coffee and I'm still yawning. Why you ask? Because my son left on a school trip this morning and he had to be at the school at 5:45 at the lastest. They are going to The Cities {Mpls/St. Paul for those not in the upper midwest}. They get to go to the Science Museum, the zoo {not sure which}, and a couple of other places. But not MOA, thank god. I feel sorry for the chaperones. Three charter busses full of sugar shocked and over caffienated 8th graders. Makes me want a coule Xanax, just thinking about it.

He called me at 10 to 4, just to make sure I was up and that I would get him early so he could go to the store and load up on provisions {you know the four basic teenage food groups, sugar, salt, fat and caffiene}. He also wanted his allowance {pay day for both of us today}. Between the money from DBR, me and Schiessa, the kid is loaded. Sounds like he is going to have a great time.

There are some advantages to sending your kid out of district, to a new school in a very well to do neighborhood, even if it is on the otherside of town {convienently only a couple miles from where I work}.

Good thing I did have my caffiene, as on the way back I was almost t-boned by some idiot in an overpriced gas guzzling status symbol, who decided to make a very illegal left turn {I had no light, as I was going straight and he/she/it was comming off a side street}. Thankfully by then the coffee had kicked in enough that I was able to avoid, Mr. I'm above the rules.

At 5am it's not as if there was a ton of traffic to wait for. We were the only two cars there, and this is the busiest street in all of Fargo.

Skipping the gym today, but I'm going to go walking after this to go get the paper {I got to have my morning paper and my daily Jumbles, I love puns}.

Cross your fingers that The Cities are still standing after they get done. K. Lo. consider yourself warned, 130 hopped up 8th graders are heading your way. I'd take cover if I were you.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
