Well yesterday was a waste. I took Warren to see Shrek (see previous entry) and then we went to lunch at McDonalds.. We still had some time to kill before I had to drop him off at Rainbow Bridge. So we wasted some gas and some how he started smarting off to me again.. so I wound up stopping in a park and getting out of the car (took the keys etc with me) to give him a chance to chill it.. I was only a few feet away.. but it seemed to help.. we got a few things worked out I hope..

After I dropped him off I went to Barnes an Noble.. I had only planned to stay for a little while.. (famous last words).. I read a book about myths of different cultures (a Dorling Kindersly book, great illustrations). .and then got absorbed in a Joesph Campbell book.."The Power of Myth". I didn't think I was there that long.. So I went and got a couple other books and started reading, a Book about the Philoshy of Start Trek (yes I am a geek and proud of it). Any way the next thing I knew they were announcing that it was closing time in 15 minutes.. I cna't believe I spent 6 hours in Barnes and Noble.. oh well.. I needed the vacation..

At least tommorrow is a holiday. I only have to work half a shift or less, so I will have today and most of tommorrow to try and finish cleaning this mess up before Georgia and the lady from Partnership come on Wed.

On to other business Since others have been making various lists I thought I would make a list too. A list of my favoriter top 10 Hubba Hubbas.. LOL

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
