Of all the times for my letter to come on the air, he had to read it, (well parahprase for brevities sake) while I was in the shower, with my hair all shampooed up. So of course I had to turn off the shower to listen. (in case you are wondering, I have a small portable in my bathroom. I like tunes while I bathe).

It was actually kinda funny. I don't remember every word well enough to give an actual transcript, but it went something like this: He mentioned what they were talking about yesterday, and how Kim (the other DJ) had made comments about geekiness, and such towards him and Errand Boy.. (long story if you dont' listen its hard to explain) because they like Star Trek and Errand Boy was in line for the midnight premiere of PM, when it came out.. And he mentioned how he off handedly said "wel maybe its a guy thing" . Then he goes in to how that afternoon he got an email. And then he read thru my email, and mentioned my name (first name only.. never know about who might be listening.. whew) even mentioning the web site. Kim was just totally like what.. I was just howling with laughter at this point. Then Errand boy came in too, and they started talking about well maybe if you have to dress up you are leaning toward geekdom, or if you go to midnight shows in the middle of the week, or see a movie just for the 30 second trailer.. I disagree, but... and they kinda made a little joke out of it. Man I love this station.. I guess it pays to stand up and say whats on your mind.

I emailed him back yesterday. But he had probably already gone home, as I know they start thier days well before most of us are threatening the alarm clock. I know the show ends around 9 am or so, and I dont' know how long they work after that getting ready for various things.. I am not sure if I will hear back again, but if I do, I will try to remember to post it here. In case anyone else is interested. Yes I know I really do need to get out more. But I am enjoying my 60 seconds of annoymous fame while it lasts..

Life is still as crappy as ever, but right now I am in too good of a mood to care. I may even clean the kitchen tonight. We really need to get groceries, but Mike still hasnt' came thru with the Child support check, I am not sure if it is him or the Child Support people who send it to me, as it is taken from his check before he ever gets it.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
