I started this entry last night, but then I went to lie down with my son and fell asleep before I could finish it. I need to go hit the shower here in a bit. You have no idea how disconcerting it is to fall asleep in the middle of Ghostbusters and waker up in the middle of Interview With a Vampire. Of course that pretty much meant I wasn't going to fall back asleep. At least this time I caught it close enough to the beginning that it actually made sense, despite all the old world-speak.

Saturday was yet another reminder of why I need to find another job, and now would not be soon enough. I am really not the kind of person cut out for a job, where people call up to ask details about passion products. This guy couldn't have been more than 17 or 18, as he sounded very naive. HE was asking about gels and lubes and so forth. But then when he asked if we carry rings, well I was praying for lightening, or a bomb or any disaster that would end that call. He knew out downtown store, so I told him the bookstore on NP is probably the best bet for what he wants. I don't know how Tones does it. I kept hoping the phones would die. I really am not the Dr. Ruth type, and if this guy had any idea who he was asking for advice, I think he would have dropped dead on the spot.

Then there was the lady whose voice sounded a little too much like a guy doing a falsetto imitation of a woman. She was totally serious though, so I had to fight the urge to laugh or ask any stupid questions no matter how much I really wanted to.

Somebody get me out of that place.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
