The Friday that thought it was a Monday
This morning when I woke up I knew I should have listend to my instincts and just stayed in bed. It has been one of those days where if it could go wrong it was guaranteed to. My video went kablooey in the middle of a call. I am talking to this person logging my info in the case (Vantive sucks large rocks if you are familier with dB programs, avoid it like bubonic plague). And suddenly I feel like I am looking through a thick piece of cotten guaze. It is not quite up to par right now but it is better. Then my machine went totally on strike, and wouldnt' even start. I am not sure what the problem was but knowing my day most likely I prolly had a cord loose, though that doens't explain the fatal error in kernal32.dll right before, but whatever. I looked in my mail box and paniced that I wasn't paid, till I remember my box is under my name, not over it. I was looking in Henrys box not mine. our mail boxes are alpha by first name. Our office has three Hollys, two Heidis, two Heathers and a Henry. I always have to double check to make sure i have MY stuff. I am starting to feel definately ungood also. One of my depression list friends just go over the flu, hopefully her bugs didnt' tag along on the email. I feel all tired and achy and stuffy. I am hungry and not hungry at the same time. I dont feel stomach sick, just hit by a truck sick. I just want to crawl in bed. It looks like Ronald McDonald will be making an appearance as our cook tonight again. He cooked last night also.
Warrens Cub Scout meeting actually went pretty good. Keeping 11 8 year old boys on task and behaving like human beings is a bit like teaching a chicken to surf, but that's to be expected. Warren is not actually all that far behind. I still havne't fixed his patches correctly though. The cookies were a big hit, though Rene was amazed by how big they were. I didn't think they were THAT big. Best of all the little sugar junkies had no idea they were eating Whole Wheat flour. LOL. I hardly ever use white flour, any more. sometimes I use 50-50, but almost all my baked goods that require flour have whole wheat. I'm not a health nut, but I do care a little. Who knows maybe the vitamins will shock some of their overactive systems. I had hoped to do some house work this weekend, and take the vacuum to the shop, as it seems to have lost its suck, expect with the hose, aand I can't do much cleaning if my vacuum has no suck.
I took a Coricidin (Cold & Flu) at lunch along with a couple Motrin, but frankly I dont' feel any different. I still have to fight to keep my eyes open and to pay attention to the callers. I feel the dream world calling my name. I really want to join them.
PS is anyone else having really really slow and weird loading issues with diaryland and my site in particular. It is really starting to bug me.

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.
I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.
I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
