I got to Warren's school a little early for his Open House, so rather than be a pest I decided to walk across the street to the WF, public library and what do I find, but free high speed internet access, and no waiting. I only get an hour at a time, but that is plenty for me, as I have to leave in 15 minutes anyway.

I spent an hour at the dentist this morning while a very nice lady scraped my sensitive teeth with a sharp pointy object. At least they are shiny and clean. Then I had an hour to grab a bite to eat at DQ, which was being over run by two year olds from a local daycare that obviously didn't see the bulliten on adult to child ratio's. It was like being in munchin land. Then I ran accross the street to my eye doctor appt. Lucky me, my eyes haven't changed in the last 2 years. But my insurance will cover new glasses and Sterling is having a two for one sale. So guess who is getting two brand new pairs of really cool tortise shell glasses for only $10.00 out of her pocket to cover the scratch resistant coating.

Then I headed to Wasted Acres, where I found the perfect pair of sandals but didn't have enough cash or time to run across the street to the bank. Then I came here.

Just once, I'd like a day off that seemed to last more than 15 minutes.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
