I had to leave work early again. Warren's school called after he threw up in class. Most of it made it to the garbage can, but not quite. I'm sure you really wanted to hear that.

He also complained of problems with his nose being stuffed up and a headache. He was otherwise totally Warren. I took him to the walk in and all appears to be fine, except that his blood pressure is a little high, and from what the doctor could tell he appears to have developed allergies. The same damn allergies that have plagued the majority of my maternal relatives for ages. I am allergic to weeds, grasses, molds and pollens. My mom has more allergies than I could began to list. Many of my aunts and uncles are also allergic. My brother breaks out if he comes with in any contact of plastic on his skin and can only use certain detergents. I have to use liquid fabric softener, as the dryer sheets make me and Warren itch. I swell up from mosquito bites, and by now you are probably wondering what the heck our family is doing in a place like North Dakota. As both my mom and I are ashtmatic and Mike smokes like a chiminy full of rubber tires, add in the dust and other stuff flying around here, it was only a matter of time. I think the only reason he didn't show any allergy issues at an early age is because he was breastfeed until 3. I think it took that long for the immunity to wear off and the allergic reactions to develop.

We have a prescription for Zyrtec, and I need to make yet ANOTHER doctors appointment for the meds and the blood pressure. Some days I feel like I live at Meritcare.

After getting his prescription filled we ate at Cashwise , since we were there already. ( I was too lazy to go downtown to Metro like I usually do). Unfortunately I got charged too much, I think. And Now I need to go smack some insurance Heads and find out why. 10 pills shouldn't be that much, but then again.

Warren is ready to go to bed already, must be the meds. And Chloe is insisting on fixing my hair and massaging my neck. Which would be a good thing if she didn't have claws. You haven't lived till you have had your hair done by someone with claws (and paws) who purrs in your ear.

I still feel wacked out, but I am coping as best I can. Someone was kind enough to remind me that I forgot a couple of things on my list.

  • Friends
  • Apple Crisps
How could I forget. I have many others also, but its hard to think of them, when you really want to throw a pity party. IT gets in the way, you know.

Time to check on the great freckled one, who looks ready for bed.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
