Back in the Saddle again
Well its official now. Okay not officially official, but official enough. I am once again gainfully employed, a returning member of the faceless corporate mass. Translation, I talked to her this morning, as I guessed she had taken a personal day yesterday. I have the job. Or rather I will as of Thursday at 9:30 am, when I officially start.
I am so lucky, in a very weird way. I talked to my former supervisor this morning (via AIM)about some past pay stubs for MA, and she mentioned that B* my new supervisor had called her the other day about me. Turns out they are old friends and K* my former supervisor used to work at said well known health junk company, and they know each other very well. Between that and rocking the interview I was a shoe in. Man this town is way too small sometimes, fortunately for yours truly for once that worked in my favor. At least now we will be able to afford ham and presents for Christmas.
Now the biggest problem is working out the logistics of getting everybody where they need to be. Man I miss driving. I mean really really really really really miss it. Hopefully it will all work out. My fingers and toes are crossed. This job also requires working alternate weekends, so I am hoping that Mike will still take Warren on weekends or I am so totally screwed.
I also want at least one day this weekend, so I can go see Nemesis. By my self, of course. I have SW friends, but no ST friends. My only, and once best ST friend is 400 miles away. I just want to see it, because I am a huge STTNG fan, and because I have been a R/T shipper since "Encounter at Farpoint". I never liked her with Worf, I mean Klingon + Human + Betazed. If they ever had kids, the poor things would be insane. Okay, only kidding on that last part, but I am soo thrilled. I wonder what it means about a person when they get this excited about a fictional couple, who are married to other people in real life. I guess my head needing to be examined isn't exactly a suprise to anyone.
In honor of things I am also considering changing my layout, but I need to work on my graphics first. I will keep a copy of my "official" layout, but I am in the mood for something a little less, "emotional train wrecky".
Egads its 11:30, and I am still not dressed. If I am returning to the faceless masses, I guess that means I have to return to the masses of people who go to bed at normal hours and wake up in the morning and actually stay up. What a life.
PS, guestbook is lonely. I know I have been a bad guestbook signer myself. For that I appologize. Time to make amends on that and soon.

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.
I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.
I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
