The Circus Didn't Want Me

I have never been so glad to see a Sunday night in my life. The walls in this kitchen are still disgusting. I have a major headache, and the circus was entertianing enough during the human acts, but the animal acts were just sad and pathetic.

I felt so sorry for those bears, and especially those poor Cheetahs and the panther. They looked like they really didnt' want to be there, and the one poor kitty was practically being dragged by its neck. It was just sad. Those big gorgeous cats would be so much happier running thru the Sarengeti after some declicious wildebeast, or takling some weyward gazelles. I doubt those poor cats have ever scene their natural habitat, I almost gurantee they were born in captivity. The bears when they sat on the bench looked like a pair of old drunks. The elephants were okay, but as much as I used to like trained animal acts I am quickly loosing my taste for it. Its just not natural for an elphant to walk around on his front legs.

As for Daniel the human bullet, he was a great finale, and a super stuntman, but for some reason all I could think was his poor mother must buy her valium in a really, really large bottles. All of the human acts were great, but as much as I enjoyed them, I am so glad my son is a nice, just slighly fearful kid, who will never make me watch him on a tiny rope 20 feet in the air.

Warren is totally over absorbed in Junk Yard Wars at the moment, but as soon as it is over, we are turning off the tube and kicking in to clean house mode. I made him a deal. As soon as we get the house clean enough to let the carpet cleaners do thier thing to the living room hall and stairway, I will treat him to a mini vacation at one of the motels in town with a nice indoor pool. I can't afford to go anywhere, but we all need a vacation sometimes.

Warren and I have talked and are also giving some serious thought to possibly finding another home for Chester and maybe also Chloe. I don't want to and neither does he, but this three cat deal isnt' working. Xena can't stay in her own room any more s it is not healthy, and Chester refuses to play nice. Chloe doesn't really care, as long as everyone leaves her alone. I am also tired of all the cleaning etc. I love my kitties and don't want to, but if I can find a loving home I may have no choice. I am tired of living like some kind of hillbilly redneck nightmare. (no offense to anyone intended). I dont' have the time or the energy to do everything i need to do. Its time to reluctantly simplify a bit. I need to do more thinking before I make and decisions.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
