Well another day another half dollar. I was thinking about something funny I mistakenly thought Warren said in the car yesterday on the way home from coat shopping. I was talking about how much trouble it was too shop for a simple coat. Then this converstion took place: (it may not be word for word cause I didn't write it down as it happened, but it still qualifies as one of those conversations only a parent would have):

Warren: "Yeah especially with all that 'blasting' music"
Me: "What, 'Plastic' music? What are you talking about
Warren: "No mom blasting Music, why do those stores always
have blasting music"
Me: "I dont know I guess they figure it sells more.
Actually I think I like plastic music better, its
closer to the truth."
Warren: "What are you talking about, Mom?"
Me: "Never mind"

Well it struck me as funny at the time, and I needed a laugh at the time. I think Plastic is the perfect description of some of that music. But anyway.

nMallory I agree with what you said, there are many supposedly educated people out there who are also saying some sad, scary and sick things. What I was referring to are those who are making comments about Muslims and the Islamic faith, that clearly reveal they havent' a clue what they are talking about. Comments such as "..they don't even worship God, they worship some guy called Allah.." and other ignorant things. Granted these people are a minority, and I think most people are more knowledgeable than that. The trouble is too many people are thinking with thier emotions and not their brains. To some extent I can understand this. When something this awful happens people have a variety of reactions. Shock, denial, anger, depression these are all normal human responses. We are human and we feel, and when we feel too much sometimes we turn it different direction or put it in other places to make it easier to deal with. That is why I am hoping we don't make any rash decisions right now, as we are all weary and raw and not at our best by any stretch. We need to take care of our citizens first, then we can formulate a good plan to take out those evil perverters with no conscience who did this to us. Yes we must defend ourselves, but we must also understand the reprocussions of any actions we may choose. It is not just us anymore, are actions will affect the whole world, and that is what has many of us scared spitless.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
