I finally got my review back from Naked Reviews, (see link below, I am feeling lazy). I am not sure what I think of the reviewer comments. Some of it I agreed with. However, the slow load time, wasnt' my fault. Yesterday for some reason it was taking way longer than normal too load, and I noticed a few other people on DLand were having the same problem. The fixed background issue I can see. Yes the basic framework is borrowed, as I plainly state, giving credit where credit is due, but I am the one who put it together with the graphics and the background. I can't put my counter and such outside of the table, because it messes the whole thing up. If some one knows the code for stars, I will gladdly change the hearts. Personally I kind of like them. I realize the space type theme doesnt' fit with the name crankyone, but it is a reflection of what I like and who I am. Diaries are supposed to be a reflection of what that diarist is. I haven't archived the December entries because it still IS December. I archive my entries at the end of each month. As for a current/return to main, click on the logo on top. I realize I only made a note to that effect on the older page. The strike through can easily be read by putting your mouse on the link and it will change to gold. So far no one has said that the tempus sans itc font is hard to read. It is my official font, if I can have such a thing. I didnt' create it, it is a standard MS Word font. I wanted one that fit me, but was also common enough that most everyone would have it. On the other hand the reviewer did like my writing which is the reason behind this diary. I started keeping it for three main reasons. 1) to work on my writing skills 2) too keep a record of sorts of the day to day events, and of what was going on during my life raising Warren. 3) to work on my html skills, which when I started this diary did not exist. Originally the previous image I had on my diary was much larger, thus the size of my tables.

The cats appear to be tolerating each other. Chloe appears to be trying to aviod Xena. Chester doesn't realize how big he is, and how rough he can be. Xena however was basking in the glow of being the center of attention when Warrens friend Justine was over. She was eating it up with a spoon. Now if Chloe will get over the jealous little sister act, and Chester will cool down. Earlier we came in the kitchen looking for Xena adn found her sitting on top of the fridge. I tried to take some pictures, but the light was not the best and they didnt' come out at all.

They won't get too look at my vacuum till Monday. UGH, double major UGH. My living room floor is an absolute pit. And some one with shoes has tracked mud on the floor. I am thinking of getting a cheap small machine just so I can clean up a bit. This place really really needs a good throurough, in the cracks cleaning. It would also help if there was a bit more space in the entry way for boots, and if a certain freckle faced red head would take off his shoes when he comes in from playing. I really need to get off my arse, we need groceries including kitty litter (multi cat formula please, my least favorite job), kitty food, and everything else from asperagus, to ketchup. And I can't get them sitting here, keeping the bed from running away. toodles.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
