Just a quick note. For some reason I feel a headache comming on for some reason. I need to go on a Mt. Dew quest shortly.

Warren is finally up, he had a really strange restless night last night. He couldn't get to sleep for some reason. He woke me up twice once at 3 am and once at 5 am for breakfast. I told him it was too early and rolled over to go back to sleep. He didnt' believe me till I told him it was dark out and he looked for himself. Finally around 5 or 6 he fell a sleep till now. He woke up and said his arm hurt. I am thinking skating yesterday (it was too cold for sledding), took too much out of him. He took a warm bath and is feeling better, and bugging me for breakfast.

Last night we went to supper at Denny's. Remind me not to order burgers there any more. I hate their pickles. But what stands out in my mind is a comment that he made. He was talking about his day and he made the comment that they were amazed by the fact that he had only played video games a couple of times, he told me "Who needs video games, I'd rather build something or go outside." THATS MY BOY!!! I guess I must have done something right after all. He may be a computer expert when he grows up, who knows but he doesn't need it now. He needs to be a kid and learn to think, then he can apply that knowledge to what ever field he goes into. He will be much better equiped to think out side the box, than those kids who were born with a joystick in thier hands.

Last night I had a good time with him and we didnt' even have the tv on. He took his ferris wheel appart and then called me downstairs to help him build. So we spent the next few hours building a model space buggy out of k'nex. He is amazing with those things. I am feeling lazy or I should take a picture of it and add it here. Maybe later I will.

Today I swear I will do laundry and dishes if I have to threaten myself. But first I must have the Dew, must do the Dew. Have a happy last Saturday of 2001!!

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
