Okay Yoda is who I got the first time.. I'm honored. Though if truth be told, I'm not that brilliant or that short..LOL..So then I went back and cheated.. I like this answer better.. although my darkside isnt' quite as ummm dark as his....

This is going to have to be a short entry... Its been a very interesting day.. First I owe major public appologies to her for being a flake yet again. She even went to the trouble of calling and reminding me yesterday, and I still totally stood her up. I'm amazed she's still speaking to me.

So what did I do? I got up and took Warren out to breakfast. Then he asked about racing his boat, so I drove him to the dike, where he played with his boat for awhile and I enjoyed the farmer's market. A sure sign of true adulthood/getting old-ness is when you are willing to shell out good bucks for the same foods you complained about eating as a kid. I remember being sick and whining about chokecherry and plum jelly as a kid...now I love them..same with sauerkraut..

Then Warren wanted to ride his bike, so I let him ride on the bike path, while I drove ahead to Lindenwood and met him. Then like I said my brain took off for Jupiter and parts unknown, while my body sacked out on a blanket in the park and read Princess Bride. My son spent the afternoon riding his bike.. I was feeling so refreshed and in such a good mood, that I decided to rent movies at Blockbuster..

Warren had been constantly asking me about Princess Bride and what is happening so I rented him the DVD.. he loved it...not as much as I did, more like the Grandson..which was totally funny..and to be expected for a 10 year old boy.. We also rented Blues Brothers... the language is a bit blue, but he thought the car chases were the greatest thing on film.. and then thirdly we rented the second Harry Potter.

It was only then I came home to a beeping answering machine reminding me what a thoughtless braindead, very bad friend I am. I called and appologized.. she and A* had talked about a few things.. and hopefully we will meet Thurs... I think this time I will have it written in life size letters somewhere so I don't forget....

I also ended up making a run to Wally World for a new Universal remote because I couldn't find ours.. After spending way to much time cussing to get it programed.. (it hates our tv), the video button wouldn't work.. Eventually I did find the other remote so we could watch movies.. but now my son refuses to let go of the new remote..

On the goodness I may be rescued yet.. C****O** left a message on my machine Friday to call back and set up and interview. I have crossed everything I can cross. This job would improve things so much, not to mention it would save me from working at Vitamin Hell-products.. Please send good vibes my way.. and if anyone has any advice on how to put my last couple jobs on a positive spin, while still being honest and professional, I would really appreciate it.

This would be the greatest birthday present ever...but for now..I'll have to settle for snuggle time with my son...

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
