Warren slept with Xena again last night. I've never seen a cat put up with being snuggled under a blanket like that before. Chloe and Chester
would rather play with a German Shepard then be wrapped up in a blanket and snuggled like a teddy bear. Warren came in to my room early this
morning however. Apparently Chester was skulking around and scared Xena under the bed or something. Oh well, we put the troublemakers in temporary
kitty time out, and feed her. Between that and the people food treats she is soon gonna be a tubby little kitty. She needs to work
on not being such a fraidy cat. Yesterday she freaked when I turned on the water to wash dishes and nearly had a heart attack when I used
the electric can opener, which is normally a call to rally for the other kities. If all else fails I may just have to buy a separate box and feeding
stuff for Xena and make her the upstairs kitty or something. I am not quite sure how that will work. Chester thinks HE owns the house, and Chloe
thinks the world is here to make her happy.
I am sorry I made you cry Kat. I just thought it was so sweet the way Warren and Xena have bonded. I have always noticed that cats seem to have
an almost mystical quality about them. Its like they often turn up just when they are most needed. I know I have had a few cats do that in my life.
If I didn't know better sometimes I would swear they are as human as we are, but I think that just comes from watching too much TV.
Today was Warren's real first day back to school. He was not a happy little camper this morning. He was definately not a happy camper at
all. He didnt' even want breakfast. Then he was snap happy everytime I would say anything. He almost fell asleep on the couch, and then he
had a minor tantrum because the strap on his snow pants broke and I didnt' have time to find a pin or anything to fix it. When he came back in to find
his gloves, (which I now suspect were left at FYC), he took off his hat. Then the bus came and he was in such a hurry to catch it, he forgot his hat.
Hopefully his teachers wont make him go outside. That alone will make him more cranky. Of course not being able to play outside will also increse the crankiness factor several times. He had problems with severe crankiness and mouthiness
at FYC yesterday. Most of it started when they went to go bowling and they were singing. He hates that kind of novelty singing, like campfire type rounds.
He calls it baby songs. Unfortunately his means of delivering the news of not wanting to particpate needs work. "this is stupid and so are you". Just doesn't
quite past the acceptable behavior test. Then he also didnt do very good at bowling, which pretty much sealed the fate of yesterday qualifiying for terrible
horrible no good very bad day status. (That reminds me I should find him that book, its a bit young for him, but very good).
When we got home, he was hungry enough to eat a horse. We penned up the domiant two (cats) and fed Xena. She didnt' want to eat the dry stuff
but once I let her drink the tuna juice and clean the can, she was thrilled. (till the can opener scared the whiskers off her). I made a tuna casserole. Warren at first
had a fit because I put cheese in and on it. He went on a 20 minute tirade about it. Then he ate two huge helpings. Go figure. Kids! By this point,
and thanks to evening meds also kicking in, he was in a much better mood. We snuggled up and watched Dexter and PPG. Then we went upstairs and
watched Courage the Cowardly Dog. Then I tucked him and Xena in to bed. I read another few dozen pages from Wind in the Willows. (Which almost put me to sleep- yawn).
Then he was out like the proverbial light bulb. I also started a new diary today. Its a different kind of diary. Its not really a what I did , or a wrting for me type diary,
but rather a collection of (or someday it will be) letters to my son. I decided to call it ForWarren. Check it out, and let me know what you
think. If you sign the guestbook over there, write to Warren. Otherwise sign this one. I am very proud of my self. It is the first layout, I created almost
entirely by myself. I borrowed the graphics from Kitty because she has such talent for graphics. Otherwise I did it all myself in notepad.
I had a little help with the style sheet from Lissa. I am also working on another diary, that will be my private diary, maybe, but right now the javascript
won't work, so it just has a plain template and no real entries. What can I say. Diaryland is a serious addiction.

Mini-Bio
In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.
I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on. I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
