Mike and Mary

I actually had a good time with Mike's mom. Amazing!! She is nothing like her son, I mean yes there is some physcal resemblance, but beyond that I can hardly believe they are related much less mother/son. His mother is tiny, even shorter than me and very slim. She reminds me more of some of my relatives actually, which kind of creeps me out, in an Oedipal sort of way.

I did manage to learn alot of new information about Mike that explains alot. He's still a jerk, but I'm getting a better understanding of where alot of that assholery comes from. I've only talked to his dad a couple times, and got a strange vibe (not an inappropriate one, just one that was hard to explain, like someone trying to buy his way out of some previous bad karma).

Mike's father and grandfather were both alcholics (heck he grandfather was a swastika carrying Nazi from stories I've heard), Mike is also an addict and Warren is trying desperatly to find the off-ramp from that same path.

I don't remember anyone asking me if I wanted to join the "Save a M******* from himself club? Mary couldn't do it, Mike's grandmother couldn't do it, not sure what makes anyone think I can do it?

Things are even more complicated by the fact that now Mike's liver is acting up.

As I've mentioned he has Hepatitis, has since he was a teenager. Luckily it is the non contagaious kind as Warren and I are both clean. However things aren't all the great for Mike and without going into details, he has to make some major health decisions soon, along with the potential side effects. Warren doesn't know any of this, I have no idea how to tell him or if I should.

I don't recall volunteering for any of this.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
