finally fixed

Those of you have been trying to read my previous entry from back in Decemeber, I appologize, some do dad I had on my page was malfunctioning and re-directing my page to some spam junk.

I had sent a help request to Andrew but that was a waste of computer time. I finally got smart and went thru my code. My comments should be back up and running in the next 24 hours of so.

I am so sick of cold and wind and its not even half way thru January yet. -40 F windchills should not be allowed anywhere polar bears and or/ penquins are not native life forms. My poor car hates my guts, but it is reluctantly cooperating, which is good because work is being totally slammed.

Warren is still at YCC. He is starting the paper work for his GED. He is also learning to weld, and seems to really like it. I hope he finally wakes up and learns. Welding is a good career, and with a GED )he'll be *gasp* 17 in June) at least he can further is education if he decides. I'd rather he get and old fashioned diploma, but a GED is better than just dropping out, and it certainly won't happen over night.

Mike finally checked in to a rehab or sorts, ironiclly just down the road from where Warren is. I'm not sure if anyone will be able to hit him upside the head with a big "get a clue stick", but at least I finally have some peace of mind, and a clean quiet home. Its so great, sometimes to quiet. I have to go out, just to get out of Dodge and interact with somebody who is three-dimensional.

Work is still work. We're doing some major remodeling and a large addition. The stupid thing is they started it back in August. Umm Hello, ND winter, subzero temps, snow fall measured in feet?? What were they thinking. It doesn't even have complete walls or a roof yet. Not to mention it made parking in to a contact sport. (okay I exaggerate, but not by much).

It's supposed to be even colder tommorrow morning. Nothing says fun, like starting a car in -20f (mercury) at 7am. Don't you wish you were here?

If not try to send me some warm air, preferably before April

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
