Retro time
I appologize for the photo quality. I was having a bit of trouble with the photo editing software on this computer and decided to just say screw it.
This is one of my favorite baby pics of Warren. He was so cute, who knew what was to come.
If Warren see's this picture online, he'll freak (so shhh), but I couldn't resist. He was around 5 almost 6 months old, this was taken around the time of either his first Thanksgiving or Christmas, at my parents house (the one I grew up in).
Insert your favorite old Scandanavian joke if you like. These are my paternal grandparents, Mabel and Herman (though his real name was Nels Herman Ludwig Johnson, for some reason he preferred to go by Herman even though there was another Herman Johnson a few miles away). I think this picture was taken the late 60's / early 70's, I was probably toddling around somewhere in the background. I still remember that house, even though we sold it decades ago.
I may try and post more retro pics later. I found a whole bunch of old photos.
I'm hiding from my family today. I'm sick of everything and sick of being caught in the middle, so I'm playing hooky from my family. I need a mental health vacation.
Breaks are at least workable now. I do have to give Mike credit for that .They aren't exactly up to code, but they are safe enough to comfortably drive.

Mini-Bio
In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.
I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on. I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
