Just when total success was comming into view, my lovely offspring has decided that succeeding was too scary, and that shooting himself in the proverbial foot was a better idea. I really don't understand what goes through that kid's mind sometimes.

I have a good idea, but it still frustrates the hell out of me. Hopefully this four day weekend {schools around here, seem to have a lot of them} will give him time to gather his issues, and get all his poop in a group. Maybe talking to K** {councilor, she's great} will help him work out the bug that seems to have crawled up his butt.

I saw this comming. He wasn't totally doing well for the sake of doing well, as he was inorder to get himself out, but something set off his shit alarm and he flipped just enough to mess things up. Too bad he hasn't changed his attitude enough to match the outward behavior. I've seen this time and time again, and it's been giving me bald patches for years.

But sometimes the universe knows what I need. Last night it lead me into a kickboxing class, which was just what I needed. Much better for stress, than eating junk and watching bad television. It was only my first class, but I can't wait to go back. My legs aren't so sure, but punching and kicking imaginary {but yet real to me} foes, does wonders for a person. It is also a lot more exhausting than it looks, not to mention harder. It's also great to know I'll eventually have another skill, for defending myself, as there seems to be something funky in the water around here or something. Everytime I open the paper there is another story about some guy going nutso and grabbing or trying to grab some girl, or just attack/mug her.

Be prepared I always say.

Off to BodyPump. Wishing everyone else a great day. And hoping mine doesn't bring any more bad news. I'll try to put more details on my "other" diary later. Maybe I'll even start Twittering. hehe

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
