I didn't do everything on my list, but I did do a few things that weren't. I decided to hold off on buying any Christmas gifts until I know exactly how much i can afford to spend so I can budget my month accordingly.

I already know what I am getting my Mom and my Aunt's family. My brother is impossible to buy for, and Warren is too easy, I could go broke shopping for him {and have}.

I slept in until 6:30 this morning, and had a nice leisurely morning. I hit the gym for a couple hours to make up for missing it the last couple days {stupid alarm clock}. I also did the grocery shopping {I let everything run down, so it would be easier to clean the fridge, which really really needed it}. I also made it to the library and to Tochi and Great Harvest, as well as the Asian market {best candied ginger ever}. I even bought myself some dried lavender from Tochi. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, probably make some sashets and maybe a bit of extract. I love the smell, it is so relaxing. I'm amazed how much you get for an ounce.

I came home, got my fridge clean, some laundry done, my vacuuming and a a few other cleaning chores. I also made a huge pot of suprise soup, as I've taken to calling it. Its always the same basic recipe, but its different each time depending on what I feel like adding. Tonight we had sweet potato, green peppers, onions, garlic, chard, lentils, bulger and marinated tofu with a veggie stock and some rosemary and marjoram and thyme. It came out wonderful.

Tommorrow is UU day, visit Warren day, and if I am lucky do some baking day. I found a wonderful Stollen recipe {German yeast risen fruit cake}. I may also make some banana muffins and some pumpkin bread. Maybe even some peanut butte cookies {Warren's all time favorite}. We'll see what I can fit in.

I also treated myself to a Reed's Raspberry gingerale {with real ginger} and a hemp brownie {sorry guys, this one's hash-free}. I'm down to 156, so I've earned it.

Life's short, eat chocolate.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
