Took Warren to the doctor yesterday. Relax, he's fine. We just needed to check on his eczema, as well as double check his blood pressure {the DBGR nurse was concerned, his pediatrition {when do boys move from ped to grown up doctor anyway?}, says it was fine. Sitting down with the larger cuff, it was 130/50. Damn I'd give up chips completely if I thought I could get my dystolic that low. Mine is usually in the 70's.

It seems in addition to losing another 10 pounds, my son has also grown another inch. Since August. I knew he was taller, I could tell it when I made him give me hugs. But damn. The kid is only 14 years and 5 months and he is 3 inches away from being the same height as his dad. His dad is 6'2", Warren is now officially exactly 5'11". I am still short. Not super short, but short, non the less.

Warren of course, loves to rub it in. He also loves to run, and call me slow. As well as make jokes about how old I am. I'm 38, but he makes me sound more like 83. Sigh. I know he isnt' meaning to be hurtful, but youth is so wasted on the young. I wish I could bottle, some of that energy and drink it from a can.

Eesh. Its 20 to 6 {am}, time to get to pilates. Hopefully it will be a slow one. My knees and calves re still recovering from BodyPUMP. I think I over did it a bit.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
