Just another Sunday, move on, not much to see here. Spent some time with Warren had a nice walk, and got creamed at FoosBall and Pool as usual. Fourteen year old boys have no sense of being a good winner. hehehe.. I swear that kid has grown another inch. When we went for a walk I almost had to jog to keep up with those long legs of his.

Otherwise I did some laundry and basically chilled out. Yesterday was my run and do errand day. Luckily I didn't have a lot to do.

I also watched "God Grew Tired Of Us". If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend you go and rent it, it is quite and eyeopener and an excellent documentary. Its amazing how many things we Americans {and Brits and Aussies and Canuks I imagine to a large extent as well} take for granted, flush toilets, electric/gas stoves, washing machines, Internet, Tivo, hot running water. Its hard for us to imagine much of the world doesn't have these luxeries we consider nessessities.

I once had a small taste of what it must be like to be a foreigner when I first went into the local Asian Market {they have the best sugared ginger}. I could figure out a lot of things by the pictures on the cans, and some were subtitled in English, but there were many things I had no idea how to cook or eat and things I recognized but forgot in some places people actually eat them {chicken feet anyone??}. Add in the people talking in a language I didnt' understand and a TV with a video of a bunch of young girls { 7 or 8 I would guess} dancing to a song I recognized, but it wasnt' in English it was in either Korean or Chinese I think. Oddly enough the song was Barbie World {I think that's the title, "I'm just a barbie girl, living in a barbie world"}. Very disconcerting. Like stepping briefly in to another world. Not quite, but sort of.

Since I've not much else on my mind {not unusual}. I'll just hope on the bandwagon and follow the crowd with the meme that isn't. If you want to do, take it and call yourself tagged.

Use the first letter of your name to answer each of the following.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
