Get out and Vote!!

Like anyone would be suprised. I'm still trying to figure out which question, other than my fence sitting on the marijuana issue (in some cases yes, in others no, but hemp should totally be promoted because it is amazing for many things), tripped me up:

Your Vote Score: 21% Republican, 79% Democrat
While you don't always agree with the Democrat party, it's a pretty good match for you.
Do be sure to research each candidate. A liberal Republican or independent candidate might fit you better at times.

Yes I did get out an vote. I wouldn't miss this election for anything. There is no way measure 3 (the deadbeat parents who want to appease their guilt and make the real parent's life as miserable as possible, while punishing thier kids in the name of 'fairness" measure), is going to pass as long as parents like me have voting power. I've missed one election since '88 (my first election) and that is because I was dead sick.

Today I am doing great. I made it down town and picked up the gift certificate for my bike ($100 at Toys R US), made a side trip to ***** (the retail store owned by the company I work for), and picked up over $30 of stuff. With my employee discount I saved $10.99 and only paid $22. I got Rose hip tea, rooiboos, sprouted grain tortillas, salmon burgers, some cinnamon/ylang ylang bath stuff, some bottled oolong (not as good as the brewed stuff), a bottle of local honey and a StonyField Farm Vanilla yogurt smoothie.

I also went to the store and picked up my son's prescription exzema cream, finally found fresh spinach and bought two bags, along with a few other items. Than rode the bus to my polling place, where I did my part to keep democracy going, than came home and had some lunch and am now on my third cup of rose hip tea (it is too die for, and the bags are great for your skin).

I've also dropped another 1.5 pounds between last night and this afternoon. I'm not sure where it went, but its not welcome to come back.

Oh and if you are out of lotion but have problems with dry skin/exzema, wheat germ oil works amazingly well. My son's rash was bothering him last night after his shower so I put some on him, against his agreement. This morning he was so impressed he asked me for more. It's natures single richest source of vitamin E, and it is one of the best things you can do naturally for your skin. Just make sure to keep it in the fridge as it goes rancid quite easily.

GET OUT AND VOTE NOW IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY!!

THOSE WHO DON'T VOTE HAVE NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT!!! Warren came home, and seems to have had a borderline day at school. Let's hope his attitude isn't reflective of his total day.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
