I felt stupid but I did end up going to the doctor about my finger. I'm not sure how or where, but I seem to have picked up an infection somewhere. So its a week of antibiotics for me. I guess that beats having it spread and my whole handing blowing up or something. At least they were cheap (6 bucks).

But the great news is, accorinding to the scale at the doctor I've dropped another 3 pounds. I'm so thrilled.

Warren had a bit of a bad day yesterday. I don't understand that kid, at all sometimes. He did still manage to make his points, but only just barely. All I could get out of him, was something about Amanda (this girl he sort of likes), who if you ask me, is a trouble waiting to happen. From what I gather from listening to Warren this chick is on a fast path to self destruction. Warren doesn't want anything to do with her right now (thank goodness, as she comes off as the type who is 13 going on 16, with out stopping for 14 or 15, and seems to have enough emotional baggage for her own luggage rack. I've told Warren he can use me as an excuse as this chick needs more than what he or anyone with out a bunch of initials after thier name can give her.

I wish I knew why this came out of the blue. As far as I know he hasn't seen her in weeks. I know he is a bit jealous because of Jasper and his parade of girlfriends (damn I am so not ready for this stage). But I suspect there is more going on. I just wish he would open up and talk to me.

He used to tell me all sorts of things, now trying to get the simplest things out of him is like trying to pull teeth from a hungry crocodile, while wearing meat scented mittens.

I can't wait to see what suprises are in store for me when I get home today.

I stand by my assesment. Teenagers are like toddlers with better vocabularies.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
