First of all, I forgot to give thanks to everyone, who was kind enough to leave notes and good wishes regaarding my aunt. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.

As far as Warren's sudden interst in showering, I think I have it figured out, it dawned on me this morning when I was taking my morning shower. I think Kat hit it on the head. The shower is about the only place were he can be totally alone, and know I won't bother him unless it is important. I usually knock before entering his room if the door is closed but I can imagine a pre-adolescent boy would want all the privacy he can guarantee himself. Man I don't even like thinking about this stuff, even if it is a normal part of being a boy.

He's always like baths when he was little but when he got older, it got harder to convince him that is it not abnormal to bathe once a day. Finally we had a routine where he showered at night before bed, and I would use in the morning before work. At mom's house I had to practically beg him to shower or bathe. As soon as we got home, he became shower man, when he always used to prefer baths. OH well. I have a very good idea of what's going on, so I can be a good mom, and pretend I don't know.

The last thing I want to do is give him some sort of complex by sitting down at the dinner table and bringing up his private life. On the otherhand I also don't want him to believe any of the stupid myths out there about going blind, or having it fall off.

In the interest of keeping googlers at bay I am going to end that subject here and now. And since it is time for me to go, I'll write a better entry later.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
