As you have probably noticed, I have changed my template again. I had a couple comments on the blue being hard on the eyes, and frankly I was tired of it myself. I am just not in a bright blue emotional place at this point. I am in more of a deep dark black kind of emotional place.

I found the gorgeous graphics over at Full Moon Graphics. If you like them, check her out, she does great work and most of it is free, as long as you give her proper credit.

Tranquil Insanity, I think that pretty much describes me perfectly. Besides who has time to take care of imporant matters when one can spend the day at the computer distracted by layouts and graphics and such (and reading a few diaries and other sites). It makes a great diversion from reality, which is pretty much sucking at the present moment.

I have a lot going on that I need to deal with, and I just can't seem to get myself out of this denial that I know I have but still refuse to admit. I can't explain it, except to say that if I keep pretending maybe it will go away, even though logically I know that is stupid and completly irrational. I feel like the winged girl on my layout.

In other news, I think puberty (or something like it) is taking up permanent residence at our house. Warren showered three times yesterday, and twice today (since school got out yet!!). He says there is no girl (thank God), and that no one has said he stinks. But three showers a day just seems a bit much for a kid who only went to school and played indoors at home. Between the after school shower and the bedtime shower he has done absolutely nothing that would require reshowering. Anybody have any ideas? He says its relaxing, which could be true, but still?? Let's hope its just a puberty thing. So how do you like the new layout? How does it look to everyone? Anybody having trouble reading it?

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
