I voted this morning before work after standing in line for 30 minutes, and this was at 7:30 am. It was 8am by the time I voted. According to one of the poll workers they did more people in the first half hour today than in the entire morning of the June primaries. Americans have definate opinions on this election. I cast mine. All that's left is for me to pray that God will protect us from his followers.

Warren is at CJ's hockey game, giving me at least an hour of peace and quiet. I was invited to the Ramada Crystal Ballroom for a party that I believe is sponsered by Dorgan (Dem ND), I really want to go as I think it would be a blast, but it starts at 8pm and with my having to work and Warren's having school and really needing his sleep I'm just not sure I can make it. On the other hand, I think it could be a great education experience, possibly with free food. And it would be great to be with like minded people, who didn't vote for our incombant. I consider myself and independant, but I am definatly closer to a Dem than I ever would be to a Rep. Why can't they have elections on Fridays!! I don't believe in advertising who one voted for, however I think that those who have been reading this blog for awhile and know me, have a pretty good idea how I voted.

No results yet for ND, as the polls here don't close for another hour and half.

Its gonna be a long night, for many people

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
