Tommorrow is my day off this week, so of course that means Warren has a freind over, in this case Alex again. Earlier tonight I took the two of them out to Royal Fork, where suprise suprise, they actually behaved like miniature human beings for once, instead of escapee's from the primate exhibit of the local zoo. Then we went out to set off some more fireworks, as Alex's dad was kind enough to buy the boys more consumer explosives. And suprise of all suprises Alex's mom actually gave me some money for taking him out to eat. I certainly never expected it, and would never have asked but it is nice that she was that thoughtful, considering how much time he spends here.

They had a blast with the fireworks, but I think they got a little carried away blowing up the cardboard tanks with the firecrackers, as Warren is now complaining about ringing in his ears. (I think one may have went off a little too close). Then we came back home and the boys went over to Alex's for a couple hours, giving me a greatly needed break. Now if only I could get them out of my room.

Ahh they left, sort of. They are next room over in the bathroom, Warren is still trying to get his ear to stop rining. Poor kid.

I'm still not adjusting to my new hair cut. What I didn't mention that on a whim, I stopped at Master Cuts and raised my ears up by about 2.5 inches? Yup. My hair is now much shorter and a lot curlier (from the weight removal), I also had my bad bang job professionally repaired. It doesn't look too bad if I say so myself. With the red color, its actually kinda cute. But after years of hair down to my bra strap, its very hard to get used to hair that just brushes below my sholders. I can still pull it in to a pony tail, but I can't really braid it anymore, unless I do a french braid. I can't stop messing with it. I feel like I am missing something, even if its only hair, and it will grow back.

I also uploaded several new pics to my photo journal. Check them out, there are some retro pics of Warren and some family pics as well, as the birthday pics from Warren's party.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
