a pic of Warren trying his best not to giggle
My son trying his best not to giggle. Notice what a mess my house is in. I really need to get a shade for that lamp and fix the blinds.

No pictures MOM!!!!
My son trying ever so subtley to let me know he was in no mood to have his picture taken.

a boy and his beverage of choice.
A boy and his beverage of choice. I wonder where he learned to appreciate that particular beverage.

I had some really great pictures from dinner at Royal Fork today. I wish his friend Andrew hadn't accidentally delted them. I had a great picture of Warren with his giant sundae acting goofy with his spoon hanging on his nose. Cause I'm the kind of mother who laughs when her son does that, on account of its funny. Of course this was not exactly a formal dinner so he could get away with acting like a ten year old boy.

Warren didnt' see his dad today again either. He regrets it, but when he woke up he didn't feel to well. Of course as soon as he ate some cereal he felt fine, I think it may have had something to do with sleeping 13 hours and not having had any dinner the night before. No I didn't send my kid to bed without supper, I'd never do that. He fell asleep while I was making dinner and was just to zonked to wake up. Tonight he was out by 9pm. I am hoping this extra sleep this weekend will make a big difference in his mood tommorrow.

You may have also noticed that I had some sound to my web site. Unfortunately because of the way it is hosted there is no way to put in a button to stop it. Let me know if anyone has problems with it, and I can remove it. But I think the song kinda fits with the personality of this diary. I was originally looking for MeatLoaf, but I kinda like Monty Python.

I have also discovered that now that I have a much better computer suddenly my son is a net addict. I am able to watch and keep track of what he does, which right now is mainly only Planet Hotwheels (go figure), but he and his buddy Andrew were having a field day today. On the brightside, it requires reading so indirectly I think I may have found a key to encourage him to read. He has such a bright imagination I can't imagine it not being shared with everyone.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
