I haven't seen The Sandlot in years, yet for some reason I've been using this line a lot lately. It just seems to fit so many situations.

Warren seems to be the cranky one in the house lately, though I definitely can't seem to find my happy face either. Finances are beyond tight right now, even a quarter machine is a bit too expensive. I shouldn't complain as I have it better than a lot of people and there are a lot of positives in my life as well. It just seems to be raining more than shining lately.

I'm trying to be grateful, but sometimes it's a struggle. Warren is trying, but he see's his friends who have wealthier parents (not rich by any stretch, just more income) who don't work and who appear to have more. I tried to tell him that he's going to be better off as they will be stuck in a nasty world when the gravy train goes off the track. They are on the spoiled side, but basically good kids, (save one who is very spoiled and acts like Eddie Haskell, he drives me nuts).

Trying to look on the brightside of life, but the sun always seems to come out tomorrow which doesn't seem to come very often.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
