Warren was complaining of a headache last night till I gave him some advil. Then suddenly it was mostly okay again, though he said his ear hurt. He must not have been feeling too well, as he even complained that Xena was purring too loud. (Poor Xena forced to sleep on a pillow at least till 5 am when Chester felt safe prowling after her..) This moring he said his one ear still hurt. I gave him another advil and suddenly all was well again, shortly. He ate a big breakfast (four instant oatmeals and two small carmel rolls I baked this morning - I thawed the frozen dough last night and let it rise in the fridge over night), and his temp appeared normal so I made him go to school. I am still going to take him to the walk in afterschool tonight. He is always turning the tv up soo loud, I really want to get him checked just in case. I am sure he is fine, but my mommy paranoia is kicking in.

Last night I was so ambitious I even made a lasagna for tonight. I all have to do it throw it in the oven. I was lazy though. I used the noodles that you don't have to cook first. I can't wait. It is so nice to have a real dinner for once, instead of somethign I throw together in five minutes. I also have the cheese so I can make more of my special Augratin potatoes with the last of the ham later this week.

I also wanted to thank everyone who responded so quickly about the trains. Its amazing what you learn about people. Diarylanders are some of the coolest people around.

My ankle is also feeling better today. It was bugging me all weekend, and when I woke up this morning. But I finally ditched the canvas sneaks. I am wearing my wonderful Red Wing boots today and life is wonderful again,. Red Wings are the best, if you can afford them. The added support really makes a difference. Go Red Wings!!

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
