Just another boring Saturday in my life

Hey, I'm a Diaryland Goddess. Go me!! I think that was one of the best reviews I've ever had. Its amazing. This same layout, or a very similiar one actually, has gotten everything from a "super love-it" type review, to a "ick hate it" review. Even the content. Goes to show, there is no accounting for taste, so I aim only to please me. If others love it too, than that is awesome, but if they don't, well then, too damn bad. I write for me, but I take into account that others are reading this. If I didn't want anybody to read it, I wouldn't post it on the bloody internet would I?

Another boring Saturday. Warren and Justine ("the girl next-door" or actually a few doors down) are in the living room watching Dragon BallZ, or something similiar. I just came back from the grocery store where I was accosted by cute smiling little girls in green uniforms. Now there is a box of Carmel DLites in my cupboard taunting me.

"Eat me!! Go ahead I dare you, eat me"

Not a smart thing to do when you are a delicious chocolatey carmelly cookie. This also probably explains why the box is already half empty. And Warren doesnt' even know they are here. Maybe I can blame the cats. Yeah that's it. Its Chloe's fault. Can a neutered cat even have PMS??

I picked up a pizza for lunch, but Warren filled up on cereal so, I just stuck it in the freezer for dinner. I still have a monster tension headache for some reason, so cooking is definatly not on the agenda. (Bite me June Cleaver! Martha is not welcome here today!)

Last night Warren talked me into taking him to Skateland. I was still recovering from this weeks train wreck (see earlier entry, I am too lazy to look up the URL). So I just watched. I was like a time warp I swear. Even many of the clothes were the same, as were the smells. If I closed my eyes I would have sworn it was back in 1978, complete with the Village People bellowing out "YMCA". I was actually quite a good skater back then (when I much smaller, blonder, younger, and daring). Take away the roller blades and even the skates were the same.

Warren had a great time and got a good workout. He was mad because the last skate before we had to go was for pairs and trios, but maybe one of these days I'll be brave enough to put wheels back on my feet. (Its been over 15 years since I have done any real skatings, okay maybe more like 20 but I don't like to use that number it makes me feel too old).

Today he actually slept until almost 11 am. He must have been warn out. I wish I could afford to take him skating more often. Now he wants his b'day party at Skateland. I told him I would think about it. Since he has a summer birthday, its hard to find anyone available for a party.

I should be putting away all the laundry, I have three large baskets, but my head feels like a helium balloon tied to a rock so I think it will have to wait.

My GuestBook got kinda lonely when it was down for over a week, so give it some company.

JONES
what softdrink are you?
Has anybody even tried this?? I've never even drank one. I'm not sure if I can even find it here. hmmm.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
