Scotty are you there?
"Beam me up Scotty!...PLEASE!!!"
My computer time has and is unfortunately going to be sadly limited for the next undefined period of time, largely do to events only partially in my control.
I'm trying to get on the library when I can squeeze it in, but that doesn't always work, and unfortuntaly my computer is currently in need of an ICU visit I can't at the moment afford.
Once we get moved, I finally (if ever) get my bills half way caught up, I'll have it top on my list of very important, but not 911 priority needs.
Warren seems to be doing fine. Speaking of my copper topped offspring. I seem to have created a monster in my own image.
My brother sent me the dvd set of Star Trek the annimated series for Christmas, but it just sat in its plastic and I never got around to watching it. Until last weekend, when my son and I watched it and a new addict was born. We watched all 4 dvds, over the course of the weekend. He has now dug up a bunch of my old vhs tapes that I recorded from back in the late 80's early 90's. Mostly from my college years, they still have the commericals in them. I tell you it is a real hoot. I only have Next Gen and the original series (never did get into Voyager and while I liked Deep Space 9 it just wasn't as good as it's predecessors. Enterprise I quit after the first episode).
I started becomming a Trekkie around the age of 12 or 13, only a couple years younger than my son,. I tried watching with him before but he had no interest. Now he is watching them all night for hours at at time. Sigh.. It's nice to know the acorns will usually fall near the oak.
Now if anybody knows where I could get a really large no interest loan with very generous pay back terms (read extremely small payments) (said only half in jest), I'll be your (hetero) life mate for enternity. I'm drowning in a sea of red ink, with out a lily pad in sight.

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.
I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.
I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
