That's my boy

I'm so proud of my son. He's had three excellent weeks in a row, he is pulling his grades back up and has made Student of the Week again, for all his effort. I'm just bursting, I love that boy so much, even when he had me yanking my hair into bald patches.

He's such an amazing kid when he is in good kid mode. Sometimes his creativity and sense of humor astound me. For Valentines day my mom sent him some candy {which he mostly gave to his CD group} some car magazines {that he went gaga over}, and a card that played "Who Let the Dogs Out" when you open it.

My ever amusing son figured out how it work managed to extract the musical parts and used it to lojack his wallet of sorts so if somebody tries to open it, will be loudly start playing. That kid is a hoot.. sometimes. As tough as he has been to raise, I wouldn't trade being his mother for anything. Though somedays, it is really quite tempting. Aww yes one of the many ironies of motherhood.

In other news, it looks like my Pdoc is upping some of my meds, as last week I was definatly crossing over to the manic side of things. I think if I hadn't talked my self down, and popped a trazodone, I would have spent the entire night redoing my apartment room by room, and then gone to work the next day after the gym. To say nothing of waking up in the middle of the night ready to go, with all sorts of weird things going thru my head, connection that only made sense to me at the time, adn a total inability to sit still. Ah yes that time of year again.

I only started the new dosages yesterday, so it will be awhile before I know. Though within a few hours of finally updating my depo, I was also much better. So who knows which it is, but hey, if its working, leave it the hell alone.

I also almost forgot to send my heartfelt thank to GolfWidow for sitting in for my the other day. I loved my spariffic time off, and her entry had me blushing to my knees. I'm flattered.

I'm also exhausted from putting in 8 hrs of overtime today {7-3:30}, so I think my bed is ready and waiting for me.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
