Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday.

I spent the day with Warren and the Ex, and amazingly we all got along and played nice, like grown ups. He {the ex, not Warren} still bugs the crap out of me, but I know longer let it get to me.}

Warren was thrilled with the car books and the drawing supplies I got him {a set of drawing pencils, and a set of charcoals}, he also got cash from my brother, a Sears card from my Aunt, and Models from Gramma {my mom}. He got a bunch of stuff from people at DGBR as well.

I wish I had a good camera, the picture he drew on wood with his charcoal, is amazing. He is developing some real talent. I just hope he can keep his life straight and keep his education going so that he can make productive use of it. He has great potential to go anywhere with it he would like. Right now he wants to go to automotive engineering/design. I would love to see him do it, and not just because I'd love to get free mechanical work {hehehe}.

Rather than me cooking a big meal, for meat eaters, when I don't want a fridge full of leftovers, we went out to Las Vegas Buffet. I love the place, and Warren and the ex liked it too. I ate way too much, so I won't be eating again anytime soon, though I think I will make another pot of tea. The best thing about this place, is that they make the most awesome sushi. The guy who makes it is from Korea I think, and speaks absolutely no English {the owner is also Korean and speaks both Korean and English fluently}. I will be eating there again, but not in the near future.

My mom sent me some nice earings and a guardian angel pin with my name on it {I think she's trying to drop subtle hints} and my brother got me the complete Animated Star Trek series on DVD. {I love my little Bro}. Warren got me Pink Floyd cd's.

Its been a quiet but wonderful Christmas. The best part was being able to spend it out with my favorite boy {almost man}, Warren.

Hope Santa was as nice to you, as he was to us. {I miss the days when my son was still naive and innocent enough to believe in Santa, he gave it up way to early for my tastes, like at 8 or so}.

Happy Holidays Everyone

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
