Nothing else to do
The Five Book Meme
1. Take five random books off your bookshelf.
2. Book #1 -- first sentence
The idea that led to this book arose in comparatively sumptuous circumstances.
3. Book #2 -- last sentence on page fifty The journalist George Melly once described the art colleges of the 1950s {in words that mirrow William Pobjoy's thiking at the time}, as "the refuge of the bright but unacademic, the talented, the non conformist, the lazy, the inventive, and the indecisive: all those who didn't know what they wanted, but knew it wasn't a nine to five job".
4. Book #3 -- second sentence on page one hundred
Vasalisa asks about the horses, but not about the hands.
5. Book #4 -- next to the last sentence on page one hundred fifty
"You look as if you feel better," Sanchez said. "Stay here and increase your energy as much as possible. We have about twenty more minutes of packing."
6. Book #5 -- final sentence of the book Great blues and whites splashed on to the heavens, and then Nicto slept.
7. Make the five sentences into a paragraph:
Great blues and whites splashed on to the heavens, and then Nicto slept. Next to him was his horse, Sanchez. It had been a long night of cow tipping on the open range, but Sanchez knew they had better get moving or the ranchers would find them. He also knew the alchohol and loco weed from the previous nights festivities had taken a toll on Nicto
"You look as if you feel better," Sanchez said. "Stay here and increase your energy as much as possible. We have about twenty more minutes of packing."
Sanchez managed to get the remains of the party back in the trunk of the rusty old VW bus, well as much as anyone with hooves could pack a bus.
It was Nicto's last night of fun, before he had to return to the real world, or at least his version of it. He had flunked out of the mainstream colleges, and had no desire to actually get a job, so knowing he had some talent with a pencil and charcoal he decided to take a chance with at school.
He had been around the block a few times with his fathers about this.
The journalist George Melly once described the art colleges of the 1950s {in words that mirrow William Pobjoy's thiking at the time}, as "the refuge of the bright but unacademic, the talented, the non conformist, the lazy, the inventive, and the indecisive: all those who didn't know what they wanted, but knew it wasn't a nine to five job"
In simple terms, it was perfect for him.
Right now though, Sanchez was thinking only about Nicto's girlfriend, Vasalisa. He really liked her. She didn't care that he had no hands, and what Sachez didn't know. After all,Vasalisa asks about the horses, but not about the hands.
But than why should she, she was a centaur anyway, and used to walking both sides of the street as it were.
She was even writing a book about her rise and fall from fame, and how she managed to come to grips by writing about it. Of all places, she was writing for Lifetime Network. The tentative title needed some work yet, however.
"The idea that led to this book arose in comparatively sumptuous circumstances.", was just too many words to fit nicely on a page in TV guide, to say nothing of the average watchers memory.
Hey the meme never said it had to make sense.

Pick your birth month and cross (strike) out what doesn't apply to you. To strike out you use the S tag. So for the cross out you would surround the "strike out" with < s >strike out< /s >{minus the spaces, duh} .

Mini-Bio
In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.
I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on. I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
