JustSayHi - Science Quiz

My jr. hi science teacher will be thrilled to know I actually learned something.

Thanks Mr. S and my high school science teacher another different Mr. S. Oh and I had Mr. C my freshman year. My hometown, is the kind of town one could write a book about, except that the author of Peyton Place beat me too it. That was only a slight exaggeration. One of these days, I'll gather up some stories from that town. There are definate reasons I have no desire to return to that place.

More fun with free association.

I had a great time with Warren again. I swear I think that kid has grown another quarter inch since last week. It's no wonder the kid is always hungry, he's clearly going thru some kind of growth spurt.

It felt great to beat him twice at pool. HEHE.. He was not happy with that. Silly boy, suddenly wanted to change the rules. I know he was just kidding, but still. It feels great to beat your kids at something where you're relatively equally matched. When he was little I would play fair and often let him win, but work for it. It wasnt' really much of a challange to beat a preschooler.

Of course than he grew up, and got smarter. Too smart sometimes if you ask me. But his ego should be fine. He still whips me at foosball with out even trying. I've never really gotten the hang of that.

I'm not sure if its the trazodone, a placebo effect, or just would have eventually happened anyway. But I'm feeling a lot more even, more balanced. I have to definately make sure I take it a minimum of 8 hours before I want to be up, maybe a bit more. I'll no for sure after a couple weeks or so.

We've had a few frosty mornings already. I fear the dreaded four letter s-word, is right around the corner. It was fun while it lasted.

Is it just me or is this whole Christmas things gotten totally out of hand. I mean the pumpkins aren't even in the house, the Turkey is over two weeks from the oven and the stores are already loading up the shelves with candy canes, wreaths and trees.

I hated it enough when it started at Thanksgiving, but sheesh. Can we at least wash off the Halloween make up first. Next thing you know they'll be selling wreathes next to the firecrackers. Christmas is difficult enough for me as it is. I really don't need 2 months of knife twisting and false cheer shoved at me in the name of an extra buck.

    Just call me Ebeneezer.

    Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
