Bout time I had a good day

Warren is much happier and better off now that he is in the DBGR. I gotta say, he has a pretty sweet set up there. I went to spend the afternoon with him, since he is on admissions level so he can't go on any trips with the other kids {they do a lot of stuff on the weekends} and he won't get his shoes until tommorrow (72 hour watch on all new kids, make sure they aren't homicidal or suicidal etc...).

We had a blast. I confirmed that I suck at pool. I sank a few good shots, but who besides me can manage to get a pool injury. Stupid cue!!. I am fairly passable at air hockey, and I just cheat at foosball. but it is so much fun to just spin the little guys.

He is so much happier and the place is so much nicer. We spent more time talking and playing together this afternoon than we have in months, even before he was busted. At juvy I was lucky to get an hour a day with him, just sitting in a stupid little room with nothing to do. Here we had a blast. Hell the place is nicer than home. Those kids have everything. Even exercise equipment. We got to visit and have a workout. My son has disovered the joys of weightlifting. (like the fact that he is now 5ft 10.5inches way too freaking tall for a 14 year old isn't enough. Now he wants to have massive muscles too!?!? Kid's making me older by the minute. I need to work out everyday just to even begin to keep up.

Tommorrow he is off admissions and gets to go on the field trips all day. Monday they start groups, etc.. And in about a week or so, its back to school. (can I get an AMEN from the choir).

I also got a nice letter back from Conrad (Kent, ND senator), attached to a really confusing letter of doublespeak from the Juvinelle system. But at least he is in a good program, and his close to home and finally getting some help. Screw Bismarck!!

And on top of everything else. I did 5 full on military style pushups. GO ME!!

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
