You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes, well you might find
You get what you need
Richards/Jaeger

I didn't get what I want, but things maybe working out for us anyway. There is another facility (much closer in Fergus, less than an hour away), that will take him right away. They are under a different funding (long complicted story) so it will be much easier to get him in. They aren't the place I had my heart set on, but they are closer and very similiar in a lot of ways (despite being a Catholic program, but nothing's perfect).

Considering how long Warren has been in Juvy getting nothing, this is a relief. There are still some final details to work out, but this is a relief. I'd rather have him in a good program that is available now, than keep in in juvy to fight for a better program that I may never get into. Its a compromise, but I think it is in Warren's best interest. Even mominators have to know when to say when. (my son used to call me mominator when he was younger. I like the name)

But really, how can anyone turn down this face. (the scan isn't very good, so ignore the poor quality and resolution, I lost alot when I tried to shrink it.)

is it any wonder I have a weak spot for smart mouthed redheads

This way at least I can say I tried and Warren will be getting services. And best of all I'll be able to come and visit alot more. (of course I'll be living on oatmeal to pay for the gas, but that's another story)

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
