Does anyone besides me think its a bad sign of the kind of day you are having when you enter a customer's address as 1234 Beaver Damn rd. Good thing I caught it, I'm not sure if she had that much of a sense of humor.

Speaking of customers, can someone explain to me the logic of paying for a lawyer to go after somebody who recieved your package by mistake, when the company you ordered it from is resending it, and ups is tracking it down. Especially given the cost ofa lawyer vs and 80 dollars of merchandise you aren't out of. While you're at it, explain the logic of yelling about it to someone who had nothing to do with it. It certainly won't change anything. Sometimes I really don't understand people.

This morning on the news they had a story about all the people descending on the local stores like vultures on roadkill, to stock up before the storm. [I think we are up to 9 or so inches. I"ve lost count, the whole city looks like it has been covered with marshmallow fluff]. They had this one older lady on who said, and I quote from memory

, We're picking up some microwave dinners and frozen meals. We can't be sure there might not be a power outage, and we wouldn't be able to cook.

blink....blink....

She must have one of those old fashioned wood burning microwaves.

I'm not sure how I feel about my new meds at this point, some days they seem to work great, other days, not so much. Tuesday i rented a car, to take care of some appointments and run some errands and I ended up going psycho mom on Warren. I"m so stressed about money these days, and I finally snapped taking it all out on the poor kid. I have another appt on Monday. I'm going to bring it up then.

I also want to mention that if you haven't seen the documentary, "This movie not yet rated". YOu really need to go and see it, unless of course you are the type who finds any sex out side of married, missionary to be offensive, than you will never be able to make it thru the movie. IT's an incredible eye opener about the media in this country.

Warren has no school tommorrow. All of FM is shutting down. I hope the buses [city] dont 'run. than I get to miss work. I need the money, but I have some extra hours from earlier this week, and I have some vacation time comming. Maker knows I could use it.

On the brightside my house smells of fresh banana bread. Warren is begging me to make peanut butter cookies again too. guess that's on my weekend agenda.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
