Hope everyone is well and had a great holiday.

Ours was pretty good. Warren as usual made out like a bandit, and was thrilled with his IPOD Nano (he's lucky to still have a gramma to spoil him rotten).

We had way too much to eat at Royal Fork (all you can eat buffet, but yes I restrained myself, I just am not able to eat as much as I used to, even though part of me wanted to).

We also rode bikes there and back. Though I left early to let Warren have some time with his Dad when Mike showed up. Normally I would have been upset, but it is Xmas, so I begged off, excused myself and let the guys have father and son time.

Last night we watched movies, and we watched a few more today. Since we got a discount for early return, we brought some back this evening and got a few more.

A nice quiet Xmas at home.

Warren and I still can't agree on all the movies though we did both love Over the Hedge. If you haven't seen it, you should. It is hysterical. Best Orson Wells reference by a Possom in a cartoon ever.

As too the other movies:

Talledega Nights: Good heart, no soul. A few funny parts, but over all, not as good as I expected.

Little Miss Sunshine Warren hated it, but I loved it. I thought it was so cute, and I could totally relate to Toni Collete's character. Adn my dad used to have a truck that needed to be push started.

SuperMan Returns Two thumbs half up and half down. I'm not sure how I feel about that one, though Keven Spacey does make a great Lex Luthor. I still can't help but wonder if the people in Metropolis are on stupid pills or something. I mean he puts on a pair of glasses and suddenly no one recognizes him?? That bugged me about the older ones too. So far Smallville seems to be a bit more intelligent (what I've seen).

We still have Into the Wild and Warren had to pick up Larry the Cable Guy: health Inspector I like larry's standup, but the movie just sounds stupid. Maybe I'll give it a chance. I still want to see The Devil wears Prada, but I'm not even going to attempt to get Warren to sit thru it.

We also rented some Futurama and Family Guy. Futurama is always good for a laugh, but Family Guy sometimes is a bit much for me, though Baby Stewie does make me laugh.

Right now Warren's friend J* is over, we are watching some of the extras on Over the Hedge.

I really need to tell the Chocolate covered cherries to stop claling my name.

I really don't want to go to work tommorrow.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
