Imagine my suprise, when I went to check my email this morning and found this sitting in my inbox.

Hello there, my name is Hudson and I represent a small tea company called Kasora Special Reserve Teas.

We're writing to you today to inform you about our links rewards program. We see that you have a Google page rank of 5. We'd like to have a link on your site (similar to what Adagio has) and we're willing to be very generous. We don't know if you like tea, but if you do we've prepared a very special gift box for you. All you have to do is post the link, email us letting us know it's posted and the physical address you'd like your reward sent to, and we'll take care of the rest. You'll be enjoying some of the world's finest teas in no time. All for doing what you're already doing; writing your blog.

Yours sincerely, Hudson Bedell Kasora Special Reserve Teas www.kasora.com

I went to the site (both thru the email, and typing it in the browser myself). It seems like the real thing. Has anybody else ever heard of this company. I am hoping it is real, because I love tea, almost as much as I love free stuff. If they are any where near as good as Adiago, they will have a new customer. At least as soon as I can afford to buy some nice extra luxeries.

In other news, I got an interseting compliment yesterday. It was actually directed at Warren, but I took it as a compliment of me also.

I was at SunM@rt, looking for a Swiffer (why they carry refills and not actual Swiffers I don't understand), and I ran into somebody I hadn't seen for sometime. At first I was trying to run thru the mental list of places I could know her from, when it finally hit me. Stop and Go. She was the lady who ususlly works the morning when we used to be in there regularly. Warren still goes in quite often, so she she's him a lot. She's like a granmotherly type, very friendly and she loves to tease Warren.

She told me that she thought Warren had really slimmed down and was looking great. (she didn't notice me, but that's okay). She thought he was looking great. I was thrilled. I must be doing something right, because now other people are noticing Warren looks better. I guess since I see him all the time I don't notice as much since it was a slow gradual change. But with the better food, more exercise (did I mention he managed to snap his bike chain yesterday!!), and the fact that if he was growing taller any faster you could watch it, he's finally starting to get less boyish, and become more manly. He has a long way to go, but as his mother I'm alllowed to say he is looking good!!

Warren says my opinion doesn't count, because I'm his mom, and I'd say he looked good, if he looked like Quasimodo. (true maybe, but he's my baby, to me he would still look great).

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
