School finally started today. Thankfully I had the day off. Warren had a bit of a hard time getting up, but not nearly as hard as I expected. I'm amazed that we didn't run into any snafu's, othr than his bus driver going past him twice, trying to find the new place. OOPS!!

For breakfast we had oatmeal and muskmelon (think large mutant cantelope). The store down the road has some locally grown muskemelon, and I must say they are the best melon I've had in ages. (mental note: must buy more), and he actually had time to just chill before he had to leave. Usually its a scramble to get out the door. And he got out with out mom there, since I had to leave a bit before him to get to my doctor appointment this mornign.

But afterward we ent out walking, and Itreated him to a slice of pizza and a sandwhich. Apparently school has also increased his appetite, or he's about to pop another couple inches. Let's hope tommorrow is as smooth.

Doctors appointment was well. No big scary diganosis, just plain ordinary cysts. I'm having the one on my arm removed on the 12th because it is annoying an interfering with my ability to do my job. The one on my face I can see a plaastic surgeeon about removign ifit doesn't go away or it becomes a problem. I'm not sure on that one yet, depends on waht insurance will cover.

I also like my clinic's scale better. Somehow I managed to drop another 3 pounds. I have no idea how. I"ve been eating (quite well) I swear. Though the one I usually use, only showed I lost 2 pounds. Still!!!! After the nurse stepped out, I weighed my self again, in just the stupid gown (what evil maliciaous mind designed those things anyway??), and I was another 3 pounds less sans clothes. GO ME!! GO ME!!

I also asked about one other thing at my doctor appointment. This is kind of hard for me to talk about. For a long time now Warren (and others) have complained I always have the tv or music too loud. I've also noticed some voices on the phone are very hard for me to hear, and sometimes when people are talking to me I can hear them talking but I can't understand what they are saying. I've been in denial about this for a while now, but my son finally forced me to act on it. So my doctor will be referring me to an audiologist for hearing tests.

I am hoping it turns out to be my imagination or somethign simple to fix. Any postive energy you couls send my way would be greatly appreciated.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
