As of Friday Warren completed level 1 at school, and is back on level 2 come Monday morning. He seems to be doing good at turning things around, hopefully he will keep it up.

Yesterday we celeberated by ordering pizza (I was good and only had two slices, and one piece of cheesy bread). Today I still feel blech, though I think that was the movie theatre popcorn. It smells and seems better than it really is. I never really paid attention before. I think I eat it more out of compulsion than actually enjoying it. When it isn't smothered in that butter-like substance they use, it is actually kinda gross.

Today, we went to see Ice Age 2, my treat for his good work (he also brought several of his grades up, not alot, but definately an improvement, and last night he finally cleaned, well mostly cleaned his room). I'm glad we went. I need to laugh like that. A few of the jokes were over (most)kids heads (I hope), but over all it was quite an enjoyable movie, Scrit (the squirell who can't hold his nut), was back and in hysterical form. The movie also had a great message about controling your fears, instead of letting them control you.

Tonight we get to reset our clocks (those of us unlucky enough to live in the land of daylight savings time). Don't forget, or you'll be screwed tommorrow. I love having more light in the evenings. One of hard parts about winter in this part of the country is the total lack of sunlight hours, especially for those of us who work indoors all day. But I hate the reseting of the clocks every fall and spring. My body does not adjust easily to the changes and it usally takes a week or two before I am on new time. My head says its one time, but my body refuses to agree. Its very discombobulating, to say the least.

My hour is up, I guess so I have to get off, which is silly as there are free computers and no one is waiting to get on.

Toodles.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
