Santa needs his meds

Hope everybody had a great holiday. We had a pretty good one, for the most part. Warren got to spend a bunch of time with his dad, and we still managed to do our tradional drive around to all the Clark Griswold's of the town and see all the lights. We even took in the display at Lindenwood, even though they charge (the money goes to local charities). It was pretty cool. I will however mention for future reference, people who put up inflatable Santas, Grinches, Frostys etc, should take care that the pump for said inflatable is functioning correctly. Otherwise said Santa may look like he is under the influence of illegal pharmaceuticals (or suffereing a serious bizarre sezure disorder - perhaps he missed his meds?)as he flapping up and down on the lawn. At least we had a good laugh. Half the fun is enjoying the work some people put in, the other half is laughing at how truly tacky some people are. (Baby Jesus under a palm tree, with Joseph looking like he was having a nervous breakdown.. umm okay... obviously these people have a sense of humor.)

Warren did great in the presents department. Thank God for rechargable battery packs. The only real downside (aside from not having the whole holiday with Warren), was my wrist acting up again. Stupid tendinitis nearly drove me to tears on Friday and Saturday. A ton of Advil, MSM, ice and rest seems to have brought things down to where I can live with it. It still hurts, but at least it is tolerable.

In bad news, I had to lock up my computer at home. It seems while I was away, somebody decided to go googling for porn. I have talked extensively to Warren and I am convinced it wasn't him but Jasper. It would explain why his mom was paranoid about how much internet access the boys have. Also when I told Warren I was locking up the computer (no guest account only I have the p*word to get on). He seemed not only not upset, but almost relieved. I also made sure to mention it clearly while Jasper was here, with out accusing anyone, to make it clear I'm not stupid and that it won't be tolerated. I should have known hormones would eventually boil up to where they over ride brains. I like to be able to trust people, but when they violate that trust I get very upset and retribution is very swift and severe. So not only do they loose Net access when I am not supervising, they loose all 'puter access until I see fit to return it.

The new gadgets on the left are proving quite interesting. I didn't know I had readers in Singapore and Taiwan. Wow!! The cartoon is suppossed to update daily or so, though I think he is currently on holiday vacation.

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
