I wanted to thank everyone for thier lovely kind comments on my previous (whine party) entry. Nothing has changed, but I do feel a little bit better.

I also wanted to document this date before I forget. Another milestone has been reached. This morning when Warren woke up there was no denying it, another major since of boy puberty. That's right my little boy now has the crackling, pitch changing voice of a taking another step towards manhood. Yet another reminder of the speed at which time flies by, no matter how unprepared we are to see it go. I feel sorry for the poor kid, but he will be glad when it is over and people no longer mistake him for me on the phone. At least his dad was decent enough to have talked to him about it, and there is also another boy in his class who's voice is also cracking up. Tommorrow is his class concert, should be interesting to listen to them sing, when thier voices have developed minds of their own.

Last night was also orientation and Q/A at the middle school. My son will be in middle school next fall. I realize it is only 6th grade, but every milestone makes me feel that much older. (I almost hugged he lovely lady at the opitical store who refered to my gray stripes as highlights -bless her). I like the way they have the teams and houses set up though, I think its a great way to transistion kids from the elementary program in to a more high school type program, one step at a time. I'm just not sure who it is going to be harder on me, or Warren. He wants to take both band and is thinking about going out for wrestling also, his newest favorite sport. I want to encourage him as much as possible, I think both would be great for him in many ways, I'm just not sure if he will be able to handle all it will mean.

I haven't mentioned yet either but Saturday my transmission decided to commit suicide leaving me with the automotive equivalenet of a quadripeligic. It has lots of get up, but absolutely no go. The cost of repairs in all liekly hood will be far above the value of the vechicle. I am currently driving a rental, but I still haven't figured out what I am going to do for permanent transportation as money is very much a limited commodity.

Just another stressful, sleep deprived week in the life of me

But this suprised me:

You Are Pretty Logical
(You got 63% of the questions right)
You're a bit of a wizard when it comes to logic While you don't have perfect logic, you logic is pretty darn good Keep at it - you've got a lot of natural talent in this area!

Mini-Bio

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.

I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.

I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
