More life with Warren
Tonight while watching Emeril (mainly cause I was too lazy to change the channel), Emeril was making biscuits and doing his usual thing, while doing his bisquit making, he went into his "oh yeah, oh yeah baby" schpeil, my son turned to me and quipped:
Emeril sounds like he is having sex!
Me: And just how do you know what sex sounds like?
I don't know (turning red)
Me: What have you been listening too
Nothing - its just something you pick up
Me: Where would you pick that up?
Not having this conversation
Sometimes you gotta love him..
Warren: Mom, take the F out of elephant
Me: (thinking a bit as I have heard this before, and fallin for it), Elephant doesn't have an F
Warren: Hey.. you're supposed to say there is no F in elephant (no F-in Elephant!)
Me: Giving him the gotcha look- laughing
Never a dull moment at my house..
Today was my day off, and other than finally playing catch up with the dirty dishes I accomplished squat again.. its very hard to be productive when you have slightly less energy and enthusiam than a half dead garden slug. Why do things that really need to be done when you can waste time watching Buffy Reruns, and scrubbing dishes. Though I do have to admit I made a hella great Dutch Apple Pie that even Starman would find awesome. I even made a homemade real dinner tonight, Warren's stomach went into shock, as we have been eating out (free food three nights in row -score!!), even when we eat at home, I just haven't been up to being domestic lately.
Tommorrow we are going to see the Incredibles and the first SW: EpIII trailer.. assuming Warren can get another 200 point day, which shouldn't be a big problem.. he has done great this week, even when he had his first negative loss of points this year today. He was very unhappy about it, but once I left him alone and didn't pressure him he opened up about it. It wasn't a big deal, he made some disrepectful comments today, when asked to do something he didn't agree with, but he turned it around and still got his full 200 points so I saw no point in being upset. I was more interested in rewarding him for turning it around and not letting it ruin his day, even though he was clearly upset. If all goes well next week he will start reintergrating back into a regular classroom.
That scream you may have just heard was my son getting very frustrated while attempting to master some more complicated Yo-Yo tricks.. Kids been at this all night, he is getting better - but still needs a lot of work.

In every neighborhood there is at least one house that all the neighbors gossip about. This is a diary from the woman who lives in that house. I am a single mother in her mid thirties. I live in North Dakota with my son, Warren.
I tend to be a bit of a slob, and am the opposite of a girly-girl. I am geek girl, who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, Angel, action movies, science fiction, action adventure, Dr. Who, and so on and so on.
I love to write and while I don't post much fiction online anymore I would love to be a writer someday. I am also overweight, bipolar and suffer from allergy induced asthma.
