I have to be at work in an hour so I shouldn't be writing this now, but I want to anyway, as I am so insanely tired but yet wide awake and wired, that its going to be a long day anyway.

Last night after work, Warren and I went to a SW DVD party at a good friends house. It was an amazing party (and my new young Obi - TPM, and Mace Windu are loving their new homes). First of all, I want thier DVD projector, watching SW in cinema sized glory was beyond awesome. The new DVD's have definately earned a 5-Star, A+, two thumbs way up, aweomesly wonderful rating from me. While some people (read everyone but me) didn't like the insertion of Hayden instead of Sebastian Shaw at the end, I loved it. If you look at it the right way (so I agree with Lucas - and after all no matter how much the rest of us love them they are HIS movies, it makes sense, he returned the the state he was when he first stopped being Anakin- he lost himself and then thanks to his son he found himself again). I love all the digital enhancements, and additions.

Alot of it wasnt' even additions, it was just amazing how they were able to clean it up when it was digitized and how much more detail that was always there was never noticable before.

I mean you could see every line on the actors faces, I knew than Han (Harrison) had a chin scar, as it is has been mentioned manytimes, is clear in the old movies and often mentioned in fan fics, but on the new dvd's it is so clear and glaringly obvious as to not be believed. The whole used up lived in future look is so much more clear and obvious, all the details have always been there, but on video with my crappy tv it just wasn't seen.

I love the way they added Naboo and Bespin to the cheering at the end of Jedi, I love the way the lightened and Brighted up Bespin (Cloud City - Lando's home) even more. Many of the changes while noticable (in comparason to the original or SE)are actually only distinguished by those of us who have seen the movie too many (is there such a thing) times.

As for the extra's they were also cool, especially the preview of Revenge of the Sith (ep III). It didn't really give away anyting I didnt' already know, but watching Hayden and Ewan rehearse and film the fight infront of the green/blue screen confirmed what I already knew. This is going to be the ultimate kick ass, (and everything else) up close and personal battle, and it is going to rock my socks (and everything else).

The SW DVD collection is definatley I my I must have list. I can't afford it right now, but if it means giving up some soda or junk food, or other stuff I can do with out then so be it . I want those DVD's. I could write more about the new DVD's and the changes, heck I could go on forever but my employer is expecting me to show up to day so adios and.....
